I learned lots...but the most important was that the more one learns...the more one realises one has to learn

I learned that you can only fit 6 nitrous oxide canisters in a 2L soda siphon before it explodes.
We could all sit outside on banana lounges discussing the best way to rebuild a 4WD transmission and agree, through shared stories of conquests supporting our assertions, that there is no basis to the proposition that those least assured of their persuasions are the first to condemn others for theirs.

I didn't learn. I absorbed. Learning took place when I started to apply what I absorbed.

l learned that wondering what other people learned was a pointless exercise. It's seeing how they've applied it that provides the entertainment value.

And what a wonderful smokescreen it is when you don't really know what to say.
There are few problems in life that cannot be solved with toast.

One of them, however, is opening a can of corned beef with that stupid key. This cannot easily be done at the best of times, and toast is of surprisingly little use in resolving the issue.

    at was considered "Berkeley North"...

A good deal of revolution in the air back then...

My Education Department teachers were excellent..

They taught me what a professional was.

I studied under what was considered the world's foremost Marxist scholar.

    Anecdotally, what did I learn........

How not to go about conducting a revolution.

    Different dynamic all round now........

I discovered that young people today are afraid to raise their voices. Too shy to be seen or heard, lest they draw unwanted attention to themselves.

I learned/am learning that Ramkamhaeng employ a whole line of underqualified teachers teaching underqualified teachers, and that their recruitment process is completely internal.

I also learned that Thai university girls are still hot, even when not in their uniform

I'm an amalgamation of several species with some interesting descendants.
It may be that some of the dress and jewelry options were a quiet rebellion, but when it came to signing an email in support of a protest they all refused.
