    Some couples have separate finances and act separately in investment decisions. I don't know how long you've been married, but if you inherited the money you want to invest, or earned the money prior to your marriage, you should buy the condo in your own name, not your wife's.     No, when we met we were broke, we made our money together and our cribs in the UK are in both our names.
