I was chatting to a friend of mine in the LoS this morning & he remarked that his TG had given him a present (yesterday I think), which was in the form of a plastic Buddha. I imagined it to look something like this...

I don't recall just what prompted her apparent spontaneous generosity but my cynical nature led me to believe that a) she had done something wrong & was ashamed or b) she was after something in return, gold perhaps
So I got to thinking about all those gifts that I'd received from Thai's over the years & I guess the most unusual was from a gal I knew before MH... who gave me a brightly colored towel for Xmas. Beats socks & aftershave I spose. :smile:

I once taught a stunningly cute 15 year old Thai-Chinese girl privately at my house for a while.
The day of her 16th birthday rolled around and she presented me with an envelope saying it was custom to GIVE a gift on one's birthday.
Surprised, I opened the envelope to find a single condom inside. She had a cheeky smile on her face and asked me, "Now you know what I want for my birthday"....
...and then I woke up!
