"A friend" wanted me to get some of this brand of potato chips for him. Haven't been able to find any yet, just tales of "oh yeah, that grocery store used to have them but stopped last week". Anyone know which stores are currently stocking them? Bangkok or Pattaya, please.
Oh yeah, these are a British brand of potato chips ("crisps"). I don't know why they call them "crisps". Just another example of the British making up silly words for things that already have perfectly good English names, like "hood", "trunk", "potato chip", "freedom fries", and so on. I don't see why they can't learn to speak English like normal human beings. :chug:
Many thanks,
Hairy
Londoner, might be Golden Wonder crisps though.

Seen them in the tesco lotus on Changwattana, they dont usually carry much imported stuff, so they might be at all branches. Foodland or Villa as well.

central childom food market.
"...ever wonder why they kill the weak ones, baby?"
The supplier for Walkers is a bit iffy, so there's no guarantee of supply.
The supermarket near Dirtdog's place does them in Jomtien, but the Kettle Chips in Foodland on Suk Soi 5 are better IMO.
The Black Swan pub downstairs from Asoke BTS sells Walkers, as does the British Club.

You can get them by ordering from Food by Phone as well.
Only 65B a packet! Bargain!
Carrefour in Pattaya has them. Near the offy. Why not just stick with Lays?...

I went through there today on my way to my girlfriend's damn Amway shopand I didn't see any signs of a food market. Where's it at? Upstairs? Granted I wasn't really exploring, only dreading the atmosphere of the Amway place- goddamn makes me nervous and paranoid. People standing in long lines to get crappy products in weird plain packaging for which they later get a "discount" with points and applications etc etc goddamn her. Or am I being paranoid.
Anyway, I didn't see this much talked about (mostly by you, Unwell, Central Chidlom food market) Tee nai mate.

Aren't Amway doing crisps yet?Originally Posted by Matthew
I can just imagine it, a huge bag containing one crisp that tastes like cardboard, but heck the commission was good!
