You can get your credit report free once a year. Doesn't include your credit score though.

I keep revolving credit back in the states with auto-matic w/draw from my NFCU bank account and I use my credit card occasionally to "keep me on the books."
My credit is still good, but I blieve my FICO score may have dipped. But pushing up the FICO score doesn't take very long and it isn't hard to do.
I try it out.
Had to give SSN but have the choice to only have the last 4 displayed.

Credit, unfortunately, is important.
The FICO score is also pretty darn important.
