do you eat thai food? a siimple question, drafetd by a simpleton for the simple folk of the Ajarn message board community.
i have always said that thai food was awful, yeah i used to eat it in london resturants but that was food that was anglicised(sp). i've been here a few weeks and am sick at the sight of rice & noodles, thank god for supermarkets & a god supply of spuds. the otter crap that they sell on the streets looks about as apetising as a pair of dirtydog's boiled y-fronts (yep, i have a picture of them too)
on the plus side, the meat down the market is relatively inexpensive. so i can buy great lumps of steak & chicken & stuff them in the freezer. gota be careful though cos they don't exactly keep stuff in hi-gnic conditiions do they... no wonder the place if a center for avian burd-flu.
all-i-all i can't stand thai food and that's a fact. gell, i don't even like eating with thais all that much, all those dirty fingers moving from bowl to bowl. *yuck!*
where can i buy some frozen yorkshire pudding? i do miss yorkshire pudding.
You still in On Nut? Great English butcher's in soi 27 - sausages, bacon, black pud, gammon steaks, pies etc. all cheaper than the Thai crap in Lotus!
Excuse me for not taking this seriously .....
