Non-B.....to Non-O.......Possible?

After reading a lot 'bout changing a Non-O to a Non-B, I was wondering if you could change a 'B' to an 'O'.

I read somewhere that unlike a 'B' visa your 'O' doesn't get cancelled after you leave a job. It seems like an 'O' would be better for me cos I take care ov a Thai dependent.

Is it possible to change at Immigration in Suan Plu?

My 'O' gets renewed every year @ Suan Plu and is dependant on my spouse

There is already a thread about this mate...you DO NOT need to change as they can both be used in the same way.

So you can extend a Non-imm B with money and marriage or relatives (Thai).

And you can extend a Non-imm O with a work permit.

And visa versa!

So to stop losing your Non-imm B when you leave a job....get it extended on marriage/money and then have the WP on top....then when you leave it won't cancel your Visa.

No reason to convert at all mate.

Up until recently, I have had the same visa for 3years and have changed jobs. Therefore, it must have got extended on marriage. Yes/ no? But I had to pay a fine to Immigration.

Also, how and where can I get it extended on a Thai dependent?

Did you show 400K in your bank? 40K a month? I'd be pretty surprised if you extended on the strength of marriage and funds without knowing it.

How much fine did you pay as if it was 20K you was probably on overtsay

Nope! Didn't show any funds or have 40K a month. I did ask the 'Visa Guru' and tried his best to give me the answer. However, his answer was the same one I had given to different people. 'The School had their Shit Together'.

Therefore, the fine was over stay. The first time 'bout 1200B, second a few grand more, but less than 10K.

So, I can't change a 'B' to an 'O' even if I wanted to cos I don't have 40K. Right?

LoL then if the school had their shit together mate.....it wasn't 'cos of marriage.

You can't change a B to an O as there is no need to mate (whether you have the wedge or not).

What fine did you pay???
