Don't know why your picture link doesn't work but I am quite handy with an angle grinder as it happens.
(On seond glance maybe it's some kind of sander...doesn't seem designed to fit into angles)

Same happened to my mother (her 90 day stamp was hidden - and at the time I wasn't aware of how the multi-O visa works). I think this is probably very common (is it delierate???) and is something everyone should be aware of. Make sure no important stamps are covered over!
