making money via the Aran visa run.
Had to do the first visa run in over 2 F'ing years. 'tis good to see the Cambo border scum haven't forgotten how to try and rip you off.
Through one of the rooms.
"you come back same day, 500 baht for same day stamp"

"No'
"500B. You go alone, you wait here, or you wait with me in here"

"What? you want me to wait in there with you, yeah sure, lets go!"
Hands back passport, dirty looks all round, "Go"
up to the next desk:
"You come back same day, 100B".
"No" *staring him down*
*shifts around uncomfortably* stamps the passport, on my way.
Cnuts.
I was however offered a ST with a Cambo girl for 500B between the 2 countries. That kinda thing is best kept until arriving back in BKK though. First time I was offered such a service. Would also imagine that if I did partake, 10 minutes into it the Cambo police scum would probably of barged in to arrest me and try to shit me up.
Scum the lot of 'em.
Wasn't a bad drive on the bike though, 2 x 2 litres of JWB for 2600B in duty free isn't too shabby a deal either.
Oh yeah, even though the Cambo visa is US$20, and you get a US$20 stamp on it, you cannot pay for it with US$20.
They only accept 1000B. I didn't give a fuck but some smelly female French backpacker was all upset over it.

You got done on the visa mate, the official charge is $20 and only in US. Stand your ground on that, it is another scam. Ask to see the top man, take their name, wait, be patient and you will get it for 20$.
