Easy mate put the word quote in [ ] and then to end the quote just do the same but put /quote in the [ ]. Easy! He says on the third edit as he's messed it up so much.
    Hows that!?

Some yes, not all though and only a single at that without a WP!
guess I need that magic bit of paper then!

Are you married to a Thai? Or do you have a Thai dependant? If yes to either of these then yes you can get a multi Non-imm O (from some places) if not then no you can't as you're not entitled to one.
I'm not married.... maybe thats what I need to do! Reading some of the other threads (including your postings) I could make some money out of it!........
Of course I'm joking - marriage is about love and friendship, not to stay in a country.....

I wouldn't mail my passport anymore as they generally know what to look for nowadays and they'll fine you if they catch you with a mailed passport Visa. Not worth it, shoot off to Oz!
So its looking like a flight home.... or a trip to Oz? Both fairly pricey I'd say .... but if thats the only way to stay another year?? .... (or marriage )....

Mate why not wait until nearer the time as things change a lot here. What is relevant (sp?) today, might not be tomorrow.

Which Consulate did you have in mind?
I think your right mate. Like I said to you last week - I'm reaching that point where I should just take it as it comes.... I've got the first 15 months sorted; just go for it Ben! But thats just me.... i like things all planned, and on a plate ready prepared.... I don't even know what Consulate I have in mind... I'm just being a typical Newbie ! "Tell me everything, I need to know everything, HELP ME!!!!" lol.... Guess I've just got to go for it.

I'll email you in 15 months time when I'm about to be kicked out of the country (or a wedding invite)....

The Changs are on me ! :chug:

    Off topic-

Philadelphia is a very nice city.

Never been here before. Very cool.

    Thats it.

Thanks for the Visa help, everyone. I'm getting there.

And my brain is beginning- beginning- to come back to life.

Where are you and have you actually got your Visa yet? If you have you do realise it kind of starts from when you get it???

To hijack a thread is fine and indeed oft commendable, but at least have the decency to remember from whom you've damn hijacked the damn thread, beeotch.

Re: Basic Visa Quesiton Here -Who'll Gimme the Go-Ahead

id kinda like to come on a 30 day visa and check out the school in person. i actually had 3 jobs from eslcafe.com- took the persons advice on par and the school ended up sucking.

when i went to bkk for the first time, i just showed up and arranged interviews by email before arrival. i interviewed and got a job within a week.

i liked the freedom of seeing. there are some shady teaching situations. read the forums- schools that say "play games" and bogus conversaton classes to kids and older. ive learned quite a lot from recruiters in korea. those dicks hardened me up to needing a close eye on work conditions prior to signing.

my question is...what is the best way to stay there for like 3 months, allowing oneself to not be too rushed in finding a job---is the best way to:

-renew the 30 day tourist visa every month?
    -a double entry??

    thanks!

Don't come in with no Visa mate (which is basically what a 30 day stamp is). Get a tourist Visa (or better) with as many entries on as possible.

Re: Basic Visa Quesiton Here -Who'll Gimme the Go-Ahead

Glad to see this thread still active after nearly a year. Just to confirm what I see in a 2005 post, is the letter from a tefl school the best/easiest way to receive a "multi non imm b" ?
Also, is there still a concern with the enactments instituted on Sept.8? Has that all blown over or is Dec.8th the tell all?
Right behind the glass lays a real blade of grass.
Be careful as you pass, move along move along.

An employment letter of some kind and business/school registration is basically what's needed (generally).

What happened on 8th September mate?
