    Mystery can I renew my visa before it expires?

    I am going to get a 15 day stamp on the 20th from Ranong but I was planning on going to KL for a 60 day tourist visa on the 27th. Will the Thai embassy in KL give me the 60 day while the previous entry from Burma still has a week left?

    Damn how this place has fallen. I am really sorry to say it. Cindy, your 15 day visa is over the minute you cross the border and leave the country. Think about it.

    Oops. SORRY for the question, AO. This is actually my first time living outside of my own country. So I honestly have no idea how this stuff works. And the embassy page said "you must have no previous Thai visa before application" so I was a bit confused by that.

    Thanks for the info though

    Don't worry. The 15 days is not a visa. It's a visa exempt entry.
    You would not be renewing anything. You'd be getting a new visa.
