Agree with you there, Matt and, if you'll pardon my humility, I make one of the best pesto sauces around: no potatoes (Fuzio) or cherry tomatoes (Scoozi), just lots of fresh basil, pine nuts, a few cloves of garlic, olive oil, salt and black pepper to taste. I add the parmesan afterwards, though many restaurants mix it in with the sauce.
It's a dish I never get tired of and, fortunately, it's also one of SD's favorites.

No-one's hijacking anything, O High And Mighty One, other than in your imagination. If you want tyo be pernickety, Nat made an off-topic post asking how I was, and I replied, also off-topic. So what? It all amounted to 2 sentences. You've spent just as much time replying so you might like to take a look at yourself first. You're not one of these mods who lets the imagined power go to their heads, are you?
As for typing real slow, are you physically disabled as well as mentally?
