Wanted: Moroccan chef. must have experience of living, eating and working in Africa. No other qualifications neccessary. Salary negotiable. Pencil thin moustache, beer gut and superior attitude desirable. Would suit person who has nothing else to do all day but bullshit!!!

I have been fortunate to travel the world, and experience eating many different foods. If this bores you, then get fucking drunk!!

CM what happened, the topic was dead and now you bring it back. You really dont understand the term critic, or reviewer do you? You like it thats fine, but the resident critic did not. I too grew up on the type of food cooked there, if its not authentic why not state it. Havent you had shitty western food prepared by a Thai, or shitty Thai prepared by a westerner. Life goes on that it does.

He's already denied it, claiming to be a good friend...but the circumstantial evidence is abundant that this is indeed the owner attempting a little silly schoolyard bullying with his taunts.
Still, as they say in showbiz: no such thing as bad publicity. Maybe this thread will encourage others to try the "Moroccan" food at this place and post (at their peril, apparently) their opinions.

I guess the trade is off at the restaurand and TC is the easiest person to blame. Me I would look at the menu and the chef before I called out a critic.

Ok I am NOT the owner. But I do like the food there. As far as I am aware the restaurant is doing ok. TC its not schoolyard bullying its about giving another opinion to yours. You throw your hat into the ring and i'll throw mine. (were you bullied at school?)
Big Bill, humble? qualified? very experienced teacher who has travelled the world? And you still have to use profanities to express yourself? Hmm!
do you think your pursuit of tc is going to get customers to see said restaurant in a different light CM?

No Zehner I dont. But the last time I looked this was a discussion forum. I disagree with TC about the food and my original question that I asked was what are his credentials for being a food critic. Which he still hasnt answered. Living in a foreign country does not make one a food critic! I went to the island of lesbos once but it didnt make me a lesbian! A good critic is just that. They will taste the food and give positive/negative feedback to the restaurant owner. TC didnt do that. I just wonder why he didnt give the guy (my friend) a few pointers. Its a new restaurant and he would have appreciated that. TC told the guy that everything was great and he enjoyed it. Then he went away and flamed the place. In my books thats sneaky. Dont you agree?
