I certainly don't understand the willingness to accept vandalism and property damage. I am no expert on the dynamics of higher education in the UK, but it seems to me like a perfectly normal thing for students to protest the fee increase. A few anarchist misfits co-opted the student rally and obscured whatever message the students wanted to send. If the misfits were BNP and the target was a mosque, most of you folks would be calling for blood. The correct British message must be that the target determines the righteousness of the action.
