I'm moving into a house next month and will have to get the internet and TV sorted.
Up till now my apartment I just paid my apartment to supply it, (pretty slow too, tho' they call it 'high speed', ahem) so I know nowt about what's available.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Just go to the local True shop? I tried looking at the True internet site, but it kept dumping me at a Thai language page, despite me asking for English. Is this a harbinger of... [Read More]

Hey all you experienced cats! I have a month for christmas break and wanted to try out Bali and Borneo. I'll be flying in from Bahrain, but I'm not sure how to get to Bali or Borneo. Should I fly into Jakarta and take a bus or train to the end of Java? Should I fly to Jakarta then fly to Bali? What has worked for you in the past? What should I see on both islands? I know to avoid Kuta Beach on Bali, but beyond that, no clue! When is the rainy season there? Anything else I should know?

Hi all. We'll be flying from BKK to Phuket on Friday, Sept 19 and staying for one week. Can any of you recommend a decent airline with decent prices and service? I refuse to take Air Asia, so don't even think about naming them. I'd also like to know about ones that are forgiving for extra weight. I've gained a bit in the last while, just kidding.

% 100 farang own
not too old bulding..
